Information for Students

Borrowing polices
Pupils can borrow library books using:

their student concession card or
photocopy of their student concession card

Important Notes

Strict no-card-no-borrowing policy
Pupils should not lend their Student Concession Card to anyone else
Pupils are responsible for all books borrowed using their card

Lost Student Conession Card

Inform the librarian immediately when Student Concession Card is lost
Pupil’s account will be blocked to prevent unauthorised borrowing by others

Overdue Items

No fines for overdue books
Pupils are encouraged to return books promptly to ensure availability for others
Borrowing privileges suspended until all overdue books are returned

Lost / Damaged Items

Lost or damaged books must be replaced with a new book of the same title
Replacements with old books will not be accepted

Library Facilities

Pupils may use the Raffles Girls’ Primary School OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) at Raffles Girls’ Primary School OPAC to:

check for availability of books in the library
View their borrowing records (e.g. books borrowed and due dates)

Book drop
Pupils may return their books through:

The book drop on level 1
The book drop outside the library
At the librarian’s counter
